Tried out a new Chinese restaurant for dim sum with family! 😀
On a Sunday morning, my family and I went to Crown Jewel Fine Dining located at Bamburgh Circle on Warden and Steeles in Scarborough.
It’s a decently sized restaurant and there were lots of people here for dim sum. I really appreciated their service here as I found the staff to be courteous and more polite than some other Chinese dim sum restaurants.
We ordered a number of dim sum to share.
These are called “wife” pastries (老婆餅) in Chinese and made with wintermelon. They were pretty good and flakey!
There were black fish roe on the top of these siu mai!
Yum! You can never go wrong with steamed salmon head. 🙂
This Fried Bean Curd Roll was delicious! I found it tasted better after cooling down (it arrived super hot to the table).
These steamed pork feet were delicious and so tasty. However, there were only five or so pieces in the entire plate…
This pancake was so thin and there was barely any seafood in it.
Everything was decent, and like I said, I really appreciated their good service and manners.
I would definitely come back to Crown Jewel Fine Dining for more food and also to try out their dinner service too! 🙂
Last time i come 3 dim sum has metal debris. Today I come and there is a dead mouse beside my chair. This is a horrible restaurant.
I will make complain to food safety canada for sure.
Also people. Don’t risk your life over there.
