Canada’s 150th birthday only comes around once in a lifetime so Smoke’s Poutinerie has come up with “the most Canadian-themed dish the world has ever seen” to produce the Canadian of all Canadian poutines to celebrate this historic milestone! (We all know poutine, a dish made with fresh hot French fries, smooth gravy, and fresh cheese curds, is *the* Canadian dish to enjoy and feast on!)
Thanks to Lauren of All Points Public Relations, I was able to try this brand new dish that is now available at all Smoke’s Poutinerie locations across the nation to share with all of you! (You can see all of the available locations here.)

You can see the full menu of what they offer on their website
What is the Ohhh Canada Poutine made out of it? It creatively tops all of the infamous Canadian items onto the traditional poutine. Get ready for it. It features their original GASTRONOMICAL poutine piled high with two types of bacon, French toast sticks, and maple syrup!!!!

Ohhh Canada Poutine
-GASTRONOMICAL poutine piled high with peameal bacon, Canadian maple syrup, French toast sticks, double-smoked bacon
When I went to claim this GASTRONOMICAL Ohhh Canada Poutine at the Adelaide Street location of Smoke’s Poutinerie, I was blown away with how big the size of the poutine was! Compared to the ‘snack size’ portion of the poutines, this Ohhh Canada Poutine was four times the size! It was heavy too! You can probably share this poutine with four people! It was topped with peameal and double-smoked bacon, with the French toast sticks so fluffy and soft from having absorbed all of the Canadian maple syrup. Underneath this concoction, there were the fries soaked with gravy and lots of delicious cheese curds!
The French toast sticks were really fluffy and looked like tofu and added a nice sweet punch to the poutine. I especially loved the cheese curds. They were so soft and cheesy!
There were a lot of people here for lunch on a Friday afternoon too. This is a great tourist spot too to get the most Canadian food out of your visit (I believe we saw some tourists there too).
The cashier who served me was so nice and friendly. She even gave us two drinks on the house to go with the poutine. Thank you! 🙂
Thank you again Smoke’s Poutinerie and Lauren for inviting me to try out this brand new Canadian 150th birthday celebration! 🙂 We couldn’t finish the massive poutine between the two of us so we took the rest home to share with our loved ones.
