Soo Hotel located at Gangmun-dong, Gangneung-si, KW in South Korea
For our third night staying in Gangneung, South Korea, we resided at Soo Hotel (which appears as Goodstay Soo Motel when searching it online). We stayed here for one night on September 16, 2016.

Funky Munky Cafe located at 9275 Markham Rd #7 in Markham
Funky Munky Cafe is a little quaint yet modern cafe situated on Markham Road north of 16th Avenue. It’s located in a strip mall where there is also a Garden Basket and Cora’s. The cafe may be hard to find but after you have turned into the parking lot, you’ll be able to spot its modern and trendy storefront for sure.
Funky Munky Cafe keeps to the basics. They only sell hot and cold drinks and a handful of baked goods. Continue reading

The Boil Bar located at 664 Yonge Street in Toronto
This past Saturday, I was invited to a media tasting event at the Grand Opening event of The Boil Bar in downtown Toronto. Having had success in their uptown store, The Boil Bar has expanded a flagship store near the busy intersection of Yonge & Bloor at 664 Yonge Street. You can get there by either walking from Yonge & Bloor subway station or Wellesley subway station. What is different at The Boil Bar’s seafood boils compared to other ones is that they infuse alcohol into their seafood boils and cocktails! Terroni at Adelaide located at 57 Adelaide Street East in Toronto
I’ve heard so much about Terroni but had never been to any location of theirs before to try a single Italian dish. Thus, I was very grateful to be able to get to try it finally! We went to Terroni at Adelaide on a Friday night — they have two other locations; one at Queen and one at Yonge at Price.
Terroni at Adelaide is located at 57 Adelaide Street East and housed inside the historic York County Court House, which served as the city court from 1852 to 1900. How neat! Continue reading
Media Nexus Network “Influencer Photography & Networking Event” located at Moscow Tea Room at 82 Peter St in Toronto
A couple of weeks ago, I received an e-mail from a representative from Media Nexus Network about an “Influencer Photography & Networking Event” (later branded as a “Networking & Photography Workshop” in a subsequent follow-up e-mail). Within the e-mail, the representative described that this was an event where photography workshops would be set up for bloggers to create content, share ideas, and collaborate on site.
