After walking around the streets of Amsterdam (including a quick walk-through the famous red light district), it was dinner time and we went straight to Manneken Pis for some Dutch fries.

(They previously only delivered to Ontario upon starting their service one and a half years ago). Sunday, April 17, 2016. Day 5. Arrive in Amsterdam.
This morning, woke up as usual at 6:15 a.m. ish and then went downstairs to the NH hotels breakfast area for a wonderful complimentary breakfast.
Surprisingly, the selection and layout here was much nicer than the one at Hilton Hotels. There was a huge selection of cold cuts, fruit juice (funnily, a “Multivitamin Juice”), bread, cheese. Continue reading

After exploring Cathedral Gothic with about 20 minutes to spare before we had to meet up with the group, I spotted the word “cafe” down the street and headed there to see what it was selling. The foodie in me just couldn’t resist!
