Potato Noodle Soup of Bai

Potato Noodle Soup of Bai located at 4300 Steeles Avenue East in Markham

Sometimes, simple is best… or maybe not 100% of the time (as you’ll see in the following blog post why XD).  In the second floor of Pacific Mall, in the food court, there is a vendor called Potato Noodle Soup of Bai that specializes in “potato noodles” and also hot soup noodles in general.   Continue reading

Weekly Photo Challenge: Gathering

Richmond Hill, Ontario. October 2014

It’s so appropriate that this week’s theme is “gathering” since this is definitely the time that many of us gather together with friends and family to celebrate the holidays and the end of this year (over lots of food and positive spirits).  In fact, my friends and I just had a gathering last night where we had a lot of food, games, and fun.   Continue reading

Weekend Road Trip to Montreal and to see Dennis Franks!

I can’t wait for more adventures with more friends next time!

About two weekends ago, our team set out in a small fleet of cars on a journey to the east (lol) to Montreal because one of our mentors in the business was hosting a training.  After meeting at McDonalds so that some people could fill up on a morning breakfast (I ate at home), we were off.   Continue reading

BeaverTails in Ottawa!

BeaverTails located at ByWard Market at 69 George Street in Ottawa

As we were on our way heading home from Mont Tremblant on our weekend away to learn and bond with the team, we swung by the country’s capital Ottawa for some well-known BeaverTails.  The last time I was in Ottawa was actually five years ago (we were in this exact location too)!  Continue reading

Lunch at Café Noir

Café Noir located inside the La Plaza Centre-Ville Evo building at 777 Boulevard Robert-Bourassa in Montreal

During our one-hour lunch on our Saturday training day in Montreal, we stuck to eating in the La Plaza Centre-Ville Evo building where there was a small café called Café Noir serving drinks, baked goods, salads, sandwiches, some hot foods, and some random daily essential items.  (If it were up to me, or if there were more people in my team who wanted to try out the local restaurants with me, I would have dashed straight towards the local food instead because there was clearly enough time during the one-hour lunch break… but I digress.)   Continue reading

Décarie Hot Dog (Montreal)

Décarie Hot Dog located in 953 Boulevard Decarie in Montreal

After our first business presentation in Montreal, we decided to go for a late night snack/dinner at Décarie Hot Dog.  While some of the others were heading to La Banquise, another well-known spot in Montreal that you should visit as least once (which I did back in August 2012), Eric, Melody, and I headed to a local hot dog and poutinerie mom and pop shop close to Vanier College where we already were.   Continue reading

More Introvert Pictures

Introverts

I am making this post because it is necessary.

The first post I made back in June of this year already described what I feel about recharging alone and needing a space and time to find myself again.  These pictures are excellent in conveying more about what I feel.   Continue reading

Smoked Meat Sandwiches at Schwartz’s Montreal Hebrew Delicatessen!

Schwartz’s Montreal Hebrew Delicatessen located at 3895 Boulevard Saint-Laurent in Montreal, Quebec

Upon knowing that I was going to be visiting Montreal this December, I absolutely insisted and knew for a fact that we are to come here to Schwartz’s Smoked Meat (Schwartz’s Montreal Hebrew Delicatessen) to dine on their world-famous and scrumptious smoked meat sandwiches!  It was a must for me and so after we arrived at the hotel and checked in, we headed there for dinner.   Continue reading

I can’t wait for driverless cars to emerge

The future is almost here

No offence, friends.  It’s not that I don’t want to drive you around.  It’s more so about my own mental health.  It’s difficult to multitask and have a meaningful conversation with you while I’m driving and trying to focus on the road.  Half the time that I’m driving with you in the passenger seat next to me, I actually can’t hear what you’re saying.  The words just pass through from one ear to the next and I can’t find myself contributing valuable points.   Continue reading

Weekly Photo Challenge: Oops!

Lisboa, Portugal. November 2014

Hahaha, oops!  How did my finger get into the shot like that?  Why does it look so round?  Is that even my finger?!  Lol.  This photo cracked me up and ended up being one of my favourite photos during my trip to Lisboa, Portugal last year.   Continue reading
