Jim Chai Kee Noodle in Richmond Hill
Located at 270 West Beaver Creek Road in Richmond Hill

It’s simply a bowl of noodles with three toppings to choose from.  That’s what Jim Chai Kee Noodle is all about.  This restaurant started way back in 1994 so it has a lot of history, loyal customers, a solid fan base, and lots of bowls of wonton noodles served over these 20 years! 🙂   Continue reading

NCRA Convention 2013 in Nashville. Day 5. August 11, 2013.

Day 5 of the trip to Nashville marked the final two steno seminars, exploring one last time around the majestic Gaylord Opryland Resort (including taking the river boat cruise!), and flying home to Toronto.  Again, I wasn’t able to blog about this day immediately that night, so here are the pictures from Day 5 with commentary. 🙂   Continue reading

Day 4 marked the last full day of steno seminars, the NCRA Awards Luncheon, and the President’s Dinner Party (Casino Royale themed this year).  I didn’t write up a blog post about Day 4 the night it happened, so this blog post will just be a series of pictures from the day’s events and some commentary from me.  Enjoy!   Continue reading

Beginning: “”A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” ~Lao-tzu

This picture represents not only the 6-year-olds’ hands, signifying youth and lots of new beginnings, but also the paw of a Canadian polar bear.   Continue reading

Da Fu Seafood Cuisine

Da Fu Seafood Cuisine at 5651 Steeles Ave. E.

This is yet another Chinese restaurant that I’ve previously been to — Da Fu Seafood Cuisine (“da fu” in Chinese means “big fortune”).  My family and I ate here recently for dinner during the holidays for my uncle’s birthday.  It’s located at Steeles and McCowan Road and really close to Milliken Park (where I planted my first tree last year! :D).   Continue reading
