September 15, 2017: The day started early with a 6 a.m. morning call and departure at 7:30 a.m. After we got ready, we went to the same restaurant we went to last night for dinner for the continental breakfast.
Breakfast selection was limited but there was still a noodle bar station. Chinese people really like their morning noodle bowls here! XD

Temporary: How fitting during this time of year that the fall leaves are what’s relevant to this week’s theme. Looking outside, there are a few trees that still have their summer greens but for the most part, this is the time of the year where nearly every tree that changes its leaves’ colours has dropped them to the ground after the weekend’s rain and wind. Before that though, the precious two weeks or so of beautiful fall foliage are seen and loved by all. They are fleeting views and difficult to savour over a long period of time. October 29, 2017: After our 5k Monster Dash run, we went to Pho 88 for a warm bowl of noodle soup to warm up and fuel up. Just like Michelle this week, I also got a peek of this famous building back in April of this year when I was there touristing around. It’s not much but a small peek of the tall building that is famous for much of New York City’s cityscapes.
