Exclusive Preview of the Fall and Holiday Collections from Pampered Chef Canada

This past Thursday, I was invited by Jojoinstameets to an exclusive preview of the fall and holiday collections from Pampered Chef Canada.

According to Wikipedia, Pampered Chef Canada is:

“a multinational multi-level marketing (MLM) company that offers a line of kitchen tools, food products, and cookbooks for preparing food in the home. … The company is headquartered in Addison, Illinois and operates in three countries: United States, Germany, and Canada.”

After our long and arduous trip back from New York, we headed back uptown to Yonge and Finch area and decided to eat at Hashi Izakaya. I had won an online contest back in February where my prize was a $25 gift card to Hashi Izakaya. Hotel Review: Hotel Pennsylvania in New York

Hotel Pennsylvania located at 401 7th Ave in New York

We booked this hotel in New York from April 27 and checked out on May 1, 2017. Hotel Pennsylvania is located in the Midtown Manhattan area of New York and really close to Penn Station for easy transit. It is also located right across from Madison Square Garden.

Although we booked the hotel to stay from April 27, we actually didn’t check in until the wee morning of the 28th due to a plane delay. We checked in at 3 a.m. in the morning and there was only one other person in the lobby. The check-in process was Continue reading →

Yelp Elite Event: “We Are Family at Aunty’s Kitchen”

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a Yelp Elite Event at a new-ish Pakistani casual restaurant called Aunty’s Kitchen in Mississauga. A Yelp Elite Event is an invite-only event where the organizers of Yelp GTA select Yelp Elite members to dine in on a pre-selected restaurant to celebrate and thank them for their contributions on Yelp.ca.

April 29, 2017: Day 3 of our New York trip began with a long-awaited desire to watch a musical on Broadway! We hopped on the subway in the early morning around 9:30 and dashed towards Times Square where the home of Broadway was. Seeing Times Square and the surrounding big box stores, lights, and billboards was a surreal moment after having only seen it in movies or photos before.
