This was the picturesque view while walking along the path at Shiretoko National Park in Hokkaido, Japan in October this year. It was autumn time and the air was so crisp and fresh while strolling along this boardwalk. I really enjoyed it. 🙂
In other news, this year was definitely an interesting path to walk. More details to come in the post tonight (:p) and on the last day of 2016. 🙂
Emack & Bolio’s located at 26 Cochrane St, Central in Hong Kong
After our lunch at BEP, we walked around and stopped at Emack & Bolio’s in Central for some dessert. Walking into Emack & Bolio’s, there were a lot of people here already and their display of premade ice cream cones behind the glass counter was so impressive and super photogenic. (They also sold smoothies, milkshakes, and chocolates but for the purpose of this post, I am going to talk all about their ice cream.) There were so many ice cream cones displayed upside down (with the pointy cone facing up) that were covered with Fruit Loops! I had definitely seen anything like this before. Continue reading

Moji Japanese Eatery located at 8362 Kennedy Road, Unit A6 in Markham
Last night, Patrick of @feedmyphone fame invited a number of fellow foodies and I to a Media Tasting at Moji Japanese Eatery. Moji Japanese Eatery is a casual and modern Japanese-inspired restaurant that serves eats like rice, udon, appetizers, drinks, and desserts. They have a brand new menu (for food and dessert and drinks!), one of which featured a Toroniku (pork cheek meat) Ramen.

Currently, there is anticipation is for tonight’s snowstorm. The weather reports are out that it might be just as bad or “significant” as last night’s snow squalls and cold temperatures in Toronto. I’m anticipating to see how wintry it will look outside. A lot of people might not like the cold or winter or lots of snow, but I really don’t mind it too much. Katsuya located at 6048 Yonge St in North York
Clarissa and I had dinner last night at Katsuya! Katsuya is a Japanese restaurant that serves Japanese fusion tonkatsu located on Yonge Street north of Finch in North York. According to the restaurant, “Katsuya is a modern take on the traditional Japanese Cutlet House.” “Katsu” means ‘Japanese cutlet’ and “Ya” means ‘house’ in Japanese. They serve authentic homemade Japanese katsu with a variety of signature sauces and their fresh breadcrumbs are baked daily.
