Mercatto is an Italian restaurant located in the heart of the financial district in downtown Toronto. It is a popular spot and hosts some authentic and high-quality Italian cuisine.

I went to Tabülè for lunch as part of the Winterlicious celebrations in Toronto this afternoon. I’ve always wanted to dine at this restaurant since it’s quite popular and because I also wanted to have some Middle Eastern food. Participating in Winterlicious and Summerlicious for several years now, I’ve tried quite a number of predominantly Western restaurants (French, Canadian, etc.) that I really wanted to branch out and try more of the more “foreign” cuisines. Winterlicious is an annual foodie event where the city of Toronto hosts over 200 restaurants to serve prix fixe lunch and dinner options for two weeks. This year in 2014, the event is held from January 31 to February 13.

Skyview Fusion Cuisine is a Chinese restaurant located at Woodbine and Highway 7. It takes the place of a previous all-you-can-eat buffet that was fairly decent in my eyes. Skyview offers dim sum, dinners, and banquets for birthdays, weddings, and other special occasions. They also offer free wifi (that is very fast!). 🙂 Continue reading
