November 5, 2017: For the babe’s big birthday bash this year, we celebrated at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament! Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament has been around in Toronto for many years and is a franchise that exists in the United States too. My first time to this fun family friendly dinner and show was several years ago in university with some friends Continue reading
Fengting International Hotel located in Changsha, China
We stayed here for one night on September 14, 2017.
This hotel was located in the ancient city streets of Fenghuang County. You can see in the photos how ancient-looking it really was.
As such, the hotel lobby was dim and looked Continue reading
Fenghuang County in Hunan, China
September 14, 2017:
On our first full day in Changsha, we woke up at 6:15 a.m. and got ready to go downstairs to eat breakfast on the fourth floor. It was a complimentary continental breakfast, Chinese style. There weren’t many tables in the small restaurant but luckily we had six people to hold down our own table.
We left promptly on the tour bus at Continue reading

November 1, 2017: I have heard of AKA-ONI Ramen & Izakaya thanks to foodies posting about it on Instagram and the restaurant itself interacting with foodies on social media by hosting contest giveaways or liking my photos. We had a really good dinner here!

Pho 88 located at 900 Don Mills Road, Unit 9 in North York
October 29, 2017: After our 5k Monster Dash run, we went to Pho 88 for a warm bowl of noodle soup to warm up and fuel up. We were the only ones dining in at this late hour on a Sunday evening at first. Our orders arrived very quickly though! I really liked the interior of their dining room. It was very modern and spacious. They had TV screens too and a long bar and a beer on Continue reading
Empire State building, New York. April 2017
Just like Michelle this week, I also got a peek of this famous building back in April of this year when I was there touristing around. It’s not much but a small peek of the tall building that is famous for much of New York City’s cityscapes.

Running the Monster Dash 5K Race 2017 at the Ontario Science Centre!
October 29, 2017: I participated in this year’s Monster Dash 2017 event in Toronto, a 5K run! 😀 I didn’t even know a Halloween-themed event and run like this event existed, never mind already in its 6th year of running too! 😀
The Monster Dash consisted of three options: A Spooky Mile (about 1.6 km), a 5 km run, and a 10km run. Participants are encouraged to dress up and have fun while running a chip-timed race. The Spooky Mile is not timed and best for kids to participate in. The 5 and 10k are best for young adults or those young at Continue reading
Arbitration
Today I had my first *look above at the title*. It was quite short I guess? It went from 10 to 4 p.m. and since I had mentally prepared and anticipated it going until 5 p.m., I was surprised it didn’t take up the full day.
(This wasn’t my first official arbitration reporting job; I was on Continue reading
Vinnie Zucchini’s Italian Buffet located at 9100 Jane St in Vaughan
October 28, 2017: This past weekend, four of us went to Vinnie Zucchini’s Italian Buffet in Vaughan for dinner in Vaughan. We were actually in the area to go to another restaurant but since that one had a 40 minute wait, we decided to go here instead. There was no wait for a Saturday night and lots of tables available! This was my first time to Vinnie Zucchini’s and I didn’t even know that they were an Italian-themed buffet franchise Continue reading
Cheers Cut located at 372 Yonge St in Toronto
October 26, 2017: Although I received this piece of fried chicken for free for promotional purposes from Cheers Cut Canada, I don’t joke when I say that this is seriously one of the BEST fried chicken, Taiwanese style, that I have ever had. This beats out every single piece of fried chicken cutlet I have had to date!
For those of you who have been Continue reading
