Ramen Lunch at Kenzo Ramen (North York)

Located at 4860 Yonge Street in North York

Last Tuesday, Jason, Clarissa, and I had lunch at Kenzo Ramen.  Last month when we had lunch at Joon’s next door, I spotted this Kenzo and kept it in the back of my mind to go for our next lunch, and here we were!

There are several locations of Kenzo in Toronto and the first one I went to was downtown near Dundas Square several years ago.   Continue reading

After three hours or so of playing badminton at Flying Dragon on Thanksgiving Monday (the time just FLEW by — get it? ;P), a few of us went to St. Louis Bar & Grill for lunch.  We were originally planning to go next door to Magic Noodle, but they were packed, so we ditched the line-up.   Continue reading

Brunch at Cora’s (Richmond Hill)

Located at 16 Vogell Road in Richmond Hill

I haven’t been to Cora’s for brunch for a long time so I picked it as a catch-up spot for Tracy and I on a beautiful sunny Sunday in mid-October during the long weekend.  The first time I went to this location of Cora’s was when I used to live in Richmond Hill last year.  It was actually the weekend after I went to this spot for breakfast with my mom that I started to seriously blog about the restaurants that I dined at on this blog.  It’s been a little more than a year since then!   Continue reading

Located at 108 Courtney Park Drive in Mississauga

After our really fun game of archery tag, we drove five minutes down the street to the local Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill to have dinner.  We were a group of 10 people and got a nice long table in a semi-private part of the restaurant.   Continue reading

Breakfast at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen

Mrs. Biederdorf's Legendary Pancakes

Located at 85 Hanna Avenue in Toronto

I’ve heard a lot about Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, especially from those who went there for fancy Winterlicious dinners and had a great time.  For this year’s “birthday celebration”, Joyce arranged for 12 of us to have breakfast here.  This also acted as a Thanksgiving breakfast get-together.  Thanks, Joyce!   Continue reading

Chatime Scarborough

Located at 3250 Midland Avenue in Scarborough

I don’t think I’ve blogged about Chatime before.  Lol.  Here goes.  Alice, Helen, and I met up at the Chatime Scarborough to have a mini health & wellness recap from the amazing event that we had last weekend.  Yay for teachers teaching teachers who want to learn more! 😉

On this visit, I had a caramel milk tea with aloe vera.  I’m not a huge fan of bubble tea or milk teas, but every so often, it is nice to have a sip of these sugary drinks.   Continue reading

Lobster Lunch at Lobster King

For my birthday celebration with my mom this year, we went to Lobster King for lunch.  I’ve been wanting to eat lobster for a while now and to enjoy it over lunch with my mom, so it was perfect that we got to go on a Wednesday when I was also my Chinese birthday to have a small seafood feast.   Continue reading
