Gigantic and Delicious Rolls at VIPS Sushi

Located at 9 Byng Ave. in North York

Wow, I was so impressed with the sushi rolls at VIPS Sushi!  When I first decided on this place to have a nice dinner and catch-up with Wendy and Helen at, I oversaw some online reviews that mentioned fairly good ratings.  It was a good spot for us to meet up at near the Finch Station (Yonge & Finch area).   Continue reading

Steak ‘n Shake (Erie, Pennsylvania)

Located at 7791 Peach St. in Pennsylvania

During one of our last pit stops before we crossed the border back in to Canada, we had dinner.  Last year, we stopped around this location for dinner too but I remember some of us had Burger King or food from Walmart.  I know some people came to Steak ‘n Shake but not everyone did.  So when I realized this was same pit stop, I definitely wanted to try this burger joint out. 😀   Continue reading

Dinner at The Pavilion

Located at 2010 West Vandalia Road in Greensboro

So for dinner on our last night in Greensboro for the MAIC 2015 Convention, we dined out as a team at a restaurant called The Pavilion.  Thank you Jason for helping us book the reservation for our 40+ group and securing the spot even though we were a little late for our reservation (oops).

The Pavilion is a very unassuming restaurant.  As we rolled up to the parking lot, I’m sure many of us were doubting the validity of the restaurant from its exterior.   Continue reading

Weekly Photo Challenge: Creepy

Panda Hotel, Hong Kong. January 2012

This is one of the photos I came across in my arsenal that shows a relatively creepy scene.  Pandas by themselves can be really cute, especially in a cartoon form, but when they are elongated and made into a human-form, then it just looks plain weird.   Continue reading

Weekly Photo Challenge: Beneath Your Feet

Busan, South Korea. November 2014

This picture was taken when we were walking on the Oryukdo Skywalk in Busan, South Korea last autumn in 2014.  I actually have a lot of these pictures when I’m walking on top of some glass walkway or platform and take a picture of my feet with the world below me.   Continue reading
