Calvin, Danny, Eric, and I were exploring the Bellagio Hotel on the first night of Vegas after our Cirque du Soleil Zarkana show and happened to pass by Jean-Philippe Pâtisserie. It’s an European-style pastry shop that stands out since there’s a beautiful display of a choo-choo train near the ceiling with these glass-like glaciers coming out of it. To the right of the shop, there is a world record: the world’s largest chocolate fountain. Continue reading

This place is ridiculous, and I mean ridiculous in a good way.
On the last day of Vegas, our flight was late at night (booked specifically for that reason) so we got to explore more of Vegas before we flew home. We had a bit of a lazy morning where we finished packing and checked out of our temporary home at the Paris Las Vegas hotel (it was great!). On the second last night of Vegas, the entire team celebrated with one of our biggest leaders, Max Chen, at Spice Market Buffet, one of the buffets in Vegas (and coincidentally also again in Planet Hollywood). It was an international buffet that spanned food offerings from different nations like Mexican (tacos, baked beans) Italian (pizza, pasta, lasagna), Asian (sushi, rice), Middle Eastern/Mediterranean (humus, skewers, marinated olives), American (fried chicken, BBQ ribs), seafood, soup, salads, and more. Last night was truly incredible. We not only infiltrated the headquarters/council chambers of the North York Centre but we recognized some amazing and well-deserving individuals for reaching the UFO program of the second quarter of the year.
