When my avocado seed finally starts to awaken after a cold winter.

Although to be honest, I’m still waiting for full spring temperatures to “bloom” (get it?). It’s been a very cloudy and grey start of spring (not complaining though because I like cloudy skies). It won’t be until there is more sunlight streaming in and warm waves heating up these babies that they’ll fully start to sprout better. But at least they’re awake now and just waiting. February 25, 2018: On the last day of my travels in Yellowknife, I went on Yelp to research some brunch places to check out. At the last minute, I contacted an acquaintance and asked for her suggestions of places to eat at. She suggested brunch at the Explorer Hotel (Trader’s Grill). March 30, 2018: We had dinner here at Top Gourmet of China and it’s a hidden gem for Chinese food! For only $88, you can receive 11 dishes of which one is a soup and one is dessert! What is a huge steal of a deal. The dinner set includes three major draws too: twin lobsters, Peking duck, and steamed fish. Where do you even find such a deal these days?!
