Taken in September 2010 on a road trip to Ottawa
Don’t you just love seeing these signs? It means that you’re travelling and on the journey to go to a different location. I love travelling and it’s pretty fun to see these signs on the highway as you pass them by on your road trip and see yourself getting closer and closer to the destination. This weekend, we’re going on a EC Family Road Trip!!!! Continue reading

October 2014: First of all, I’m not sure who named this restaurant or why this restaurant is even named “Ho Garden” considering that we are in a country where English is one of the two official languages. I would understand if we were in Hong Kong or Asia where the translation of the names from one language doesn’t exactly correlate well, but this is just funny. Ho Garden is really just a typical HK-style Chinese restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner sets. Continue reading

When you think of Club 21, you really think that there is a club here! However, Club 21 is simply the name of a restaurant that resides inside the Fallsview Casino at the famed Niagara Falls. As such, no minors are allowed into this fine establishment. When we arrived a little after 5 p.m., there were only around 2 tables dining. We were very early and it was great since we were able to get a table in the room overlooking the falls. The three “walls” were all made of glass so we were able to overlook the trees and the beautiful falls as well. It was a gorgeous restaurant to dine in.
Gourmet Malaysia located at 4466 Sheppard Ave E in Scarborough
After discovering that One2Snack was closed on a Wednesday, my mom and I ventured over to Gourmet Malaysia. This is a restaurant that I’ve heard has good and authentic Malaysian food so I was very excited to try this out! 😀 Continue reading

It’s a little surprising that it’s taken me this long to blog about this restaurant. Dragon Dynasty Chinese Cuisine is a Chinese restaurant that I’ve frequented many, many times. We visit this restaurant often for dim sum on Sundays and also to have family dinners. Continue reading

Serissa is a bubble tea and Taiwanese cafe hidden away in the plaza where Gal’s Sushi and Green Grotto is at Highway 7 and Warden. I had seen friends post pictures of food and drinks Serissa but I had never seen the restaurant or visited it. Jason and I had drinks here and really enjoyed what a cozy and small place it was.
This blog post isn’t much, but here are the drinks that we had.
I enjoyed mine! 🙂

Another new Chinese restaurant has popped up in Scarborough (on the border to Markham)! We are so lucky here in Toronto that there are so many restaurants in town that you can never run out of new places to try. Imagine if I lived in a small town where the population was 1,000 instead of 2.5 million, this blog would have to take itself to another foodie city in order to keep the posts coming. Setting lanterns into the sky. October 2012
Back in 2012, my friend Marilyn had the genius idea to celebrate her birthday over a scene most famous in Asian countries like Thailand and Taiwan and even the Disney movie, Tangled. We were in Milne Park and lit up sky lanterns that had our wishes written on it before we let it go into the night sky. Continue reading

For a quick lunch, my mom and I visited Magic Noodle. It’s a restaurant that I’ve heard several friends frequent lately so when we were in the area, I decided to check it out myself too. When I got there, I understood why it was so popular — it was a 24 hour restaurant! No wonder it’s a easily accessible restaurant at all hours of the day. 😀 Continue reading

Recently, Man Crates (Gifts for Men) contacted me about doing a post on the 5 things I would put in a crate if I were to hold a summer cookout. After this summer of many delicious meals, BBQ’s, and quality time spent with family and friends, I am proud to share this post with you all!
