This picture is one that I took recently at Wasaga Beach. It was my first time there and I definitely had to stick my feet in the water to see what it was like. It was neat to see that there was a pattern created in the water due to the waves. Here’s what I saw:

Beerbistro is a popular place to hang out for food and drinks, and especially for beer given their name. My friends and I have tried on two occasions to make a dinner get-together here but failed for it to go through because Beerbistro has a strict policy on leaving a $600 deposit for parties over 8. Hopefully you read this review, Beerbistro , because based on that reservation policy alone, you’ve lost out on two potential groups of customers. Continue reading

My mom and I went for this specialty fish soup noodles place on a summery Friday at Deer Garden Restaurant and the place was packed!! Either it was because it was summer and all the kids and adults were out or this is just a popular restaurant in general, but we had to wait 10 minutes before we got a table booth. Continue reading

I’ve been to the other location of Sambuca before; the one that is on Church street. I remember dining there and being genuinely and pleasantly surprised with the amazing quality of the food and the generous portion of the food.

A couple of weeks ago, my blogger friend Violet and I went on a lunch date to Smash Kitchen and Bar in Markham! Upon arriving at the restaurant and being seated at a spacious booth that could have fitted two more, I realised that there was a prix fixe menu being offered! I originally wasn’t planning to blog about this restaurant since we didn’t really dine in at The Pottery Restaurant, but their take-out service was so exceptional that I really wanted to highlight them. An hour before we were to depart from Blue Mountain after our wonderful weekend away playing survival team games and treetop trekking, we gathered at the Blue Mountain inn to wait for our lovely coach bus to take us back to Markham.
