April 6, 2018: We went to try the Hanabusa Café for the newest trendy dessert in Toronto — Japanese fluffy soufflé pancakes!! Apparently it’s not the actual chain from Japan but a knockoff of the idea. The soufflé pancakes are supposed to be airy light and jiggle when you shake the plate.

When my avocado seed finally starts to awaken after a cold winter.
Although to be honest, I’m still waiting for full spring temperatures to “bloom” (get it?). It’s been a very cloudy and grey start of spring (not complaining though because I like cloudy skies). It won’t be until there is more sunlight streaming in and warm waves heating up these babies that they’ll fully start to sprout better. But at least they’re awake now and just waiting.
