I’ve heard a little bit about Hanabi Sushi from some of my friends and how they get some free stuff from there because they know the owner/person who works there. Alice, Euphemia, and I went there for lunch on a Friday to check it out and I was excited to see what this place was all about.
Hanabi Sushi is a Japanese restaurant located on a corner of the plaza that is at Midland and Finch in Scarborough. Continue reading

I found myself at another Vietnamese cuisine restaurant shortly after my Pho 88 dining experience recently. Nicole and I were catching up at Pho Xe Lua Vietnamese Cuisine (formerly called Top Saigon) at the Finch & Leslie Square. Continue reading

On a Monday weekday, six of us went out for a late lunch at Pho 88 Vietnamese Restaurant at Bamburgh Circle in Scarborough. I can’t wait for the days when we get to retire and eat out with friends and work out (to maintain good health) and help more people to do the same. Continue reading
My computer, Markham. October 2015
I feel like this week’s photo challenge is a little redundant. Didn’t we have a theme like this before? Nevertheless, for me, my happy place is going home, sitting in front of my computer or phone to go on social media or blog while relaxing to some pop ballads (most recently) and unwinding and recharging. Continue reading

I’ve heard a lot about Markham Station and their breakfast specials but have never had the chance to go until now. It’s actually quite funny because even my own mom has dined here for breakfast and knows about their breakfast specials. Continue reading

A few weeks ago, we went to Carmelina Restaurant for Angel’s bachelorette dinner party. Carmelina is a Mediterranean and Italian restaurant that has been in town since 1995 that specializes in seafood. It’s located right next to Omescape and Gold Mark Chinese Cuisine (previously Fish House) on Woodbine near John in Markham. Continue reading
Carnival Splendor cruise. February 2015
Physical boundaries! When we were on the cruise earlier this year to the West Caribbeans, the Carnival Splendor ship’s boundaries kept you safe you sound. If you CHOOSE to leave those boundaries, then you pretty much will die unless you have a flotation device or are close to land. Continue reading

Two weeks ago, we met up on a sunny Wednesday afternoon for lunch around the North York area at Sheppard and Yonge with Clarissa, Ronny, and Jason. It was a really nice day and one of the last overly warm days of September in 2015.
We parked at Clarissa’s place and we walked out to get some lunch since we all either didn’t have work or were going to be working from home. Continue reading

The very first time I was here at Bang Bang Ice Cream was actually over a year ago when it first opened up in Toronto! We stumbled across it after our visit to my first TUM foodie adventure and one of our friends smelled cookie dough or ice cream as we were walking down Ossington. We realized that it was Bang Bang Ice Cream’s first operating days and stopped in for some delicious ice cream sandwiches. Continue reading

It’s been a while since I did a food blog post. Uh oh! Why!?! It’s been very busy this month so I took a little bit of a breather but I miss blogging and I’m starting to backlog on the restaurant posts, so I’m back. Hi guys! 🙂
About two weeks ago, we celebrated Jessica’s birthday at Soos, a Malaysian restaurant that specializes in reimagining street food, located on Ossington in downtown Toronto. Continue reading
